Crane Operator Hooktender – C1208

As a Crane Operator Hooktender, you will be responsible for operating cab-controlled and mobile boom-type cranes to lift, move, lower, and position large aircraft and missile components. You will also guide crane operations using visible or audible signals to ensure precise movements. This position requires a high school graduate or GED and 1+ years of experience operating overhead cranes in a safe manner. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience operating overhead cranes in a safe manner, such as boom cranes overhead or cab controlled.
• 1+ years of experience operating powered material handling equipment such as overhead cranes
• Experience operating cranes or similar equipment where precise visual judgment of distances was required to safely position heavy objects.
• Ability to recognize colors.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
