DXC Technology is seeking an Oracle Database Consultant to provide technical consulting and managed services to customers in Australia and New Zealand. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Oracle database administration, including design, implementation, and management of databases.
Requirements
Design and build databases, schemas, stored procedures, and other database objects
Set up routine database backup procedures and disaster recovery environments and procedures
Perform database recoveries
Assist developers and end-users with database usage, query development, and tuning
Develop operating system scripts to automate backups, data transfers, monitoring, etc.
Support database connectivity from client applications
Design and implement database security
Provide direction to less senior DBAs
Assist associate and intermediate DBAs with complex database tasks
