Case Manager I - Housing

The Case Manager I serves as the bridge between the client and essential community resources, providing supportive case management services to individuals and/or families participating in Heading Home programs.

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• One (1) year of direct service or Case Management experience
• Specialized training in client engagement, motivational interviewing, conflict resolution, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care is preferred
• Knowledge of community resources
• Ability to foster client relationships
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Must be able to meet deadlines; therefore, good time management skills are essential
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
• Prior work experience with individuals experiencing homelessness is preferred
• Excellent computer and keyboarding skills
• Ability to maintain positive interpersonal skills across a broad range of professional situations
