Assistant Director of Engineering

Assistant Director of Engineering at a dynamic, unionized New York City lifestyle hotel, supporting daily operations, leading the Engineering team, and maintaining the hotel's aesthetic and functional integrity.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in a full-service or lifestyle hotel
• Experience working in a union environment strongly preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
• Familiarity with New York City codes and compliance requirements
• NYC Fire Safety Director (FSD) certification
• EPA Certification
• Trade licenses or additional technical certifications are a plus
