Quality Engineer position available at S&P Global Market Intelligence. The Quality Engineer will work in partnership with other functions to deliver quality products and provide software testing services. The role requires proficiency in software development lifecycle, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing techniques in an Agile/Scrum framework.
Ability to lead testing projects, motivate and mentor a team to achieve business objectives.
Strong analytical thinking, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with ability to partner with technology partners at various levels, across functions and including global teams.
Good understanding of SQL and databases
Experience in refactoring and extending test automation/performance frameworks and suites as necessary
Experience of working with LeanFT as a tool for desktop automation
Experience of working with SOAP, POSTMAN and REST service
Experience on API testing using Rest Assured automation
Experience with source control tools such as GIT, TFS and SVN
Experience of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices
Knowledge of cloud technologies - AWS and experience of testing micro-services, containers, dockers
Experience with Test Data Management and mapping automated test code coverage
Experience in performance testing tools like HP LoadRunner, JMeter is a plus
Excellent Analytical and communication skills are essential, with strong verbal and writing proficiencies
