We are seeking a Sous Chef to lead our culinary team at Grand Mercure Puka Park Resort. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for managing the culinary operations, providing high-quality dishes, and ensuring exceptional service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development.
Requirements
Three years or more of relevant work experience, or a trade qualification at level 4 or higher
Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide guidance and direction to a kitchen brigade
Customer driven focus & a passion for food
Trade qualifications and previous experience in a similar role having done a la carte service
Working knowledge of workplace health & safety procedures & food safety standards
Ability to work flexibly over a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings & evenings
