We are seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join our Estimating team in our Edmonton, AB office. The successful candidate will have experience in Estimating, preferably in an industrial/construction environment, and will be able to develop sound, well-defined quantity-based budgets and participate in bid kickoff and final review meetings.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required. Technical Degree or Diploma preferred.
- At least 5 years experience in Estimating preferably in an industrial/construction environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical industrial construction within field and mod yard locations.
- Proven competency in the operation of key office software and productivity tool such as: MS Office, NAVIS Works, Adobe Reader, Excel.
- Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Adaptable – open to change, new ideas and methods.
- Ability to coordinate activities to meet requirements in a timely fashion.
