Afghan Community Lead Peer Support Specialists will provide supervision, consultation, coordination, and support to a team of Peer Support Specialists serving recently arrived Afghan community members. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, culturally responsive, linguistically appropriate, trauma-informed peer support services.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, public health, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in refugee resettlement, social services, or peer support
Minimum of 1 year experience supervising or leading a team of more than 5 staff members
Previous experience with refugee resettlement and/or humanitarian parole processes
Bilingual or Multilingual: (Pashto and/or Dari) communication skills are preferred
