Afghan Community, Lead Peer Support Specialist, Dari or Pashto

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, public health, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in refugee resettlement, social services, or peer support
• Minimum of 1 year experience supervising or leading a team of more than 5 staff members
• Previous experience with refugee resettlement and/or humanitarian parole processes
• Bilingual or Multilingual: (Pashto and/or Dari) communication skills are preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively via oral and written means
• Proficient in basic math skills
• Ability to present a positive demeanor to individuals, their families, staff, supportive services personnel, and the general public
• Ability to travel between various local working locations
• Ability to remain calm during difficult circumstances and emergencies
• Advanced knowledge of social adjustment services
• Proficient in utilizing Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
