Equipment Mechanic

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service industrial and contractor equipment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.

What You Will Do

Perform routine adjustments, testing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and aerial work platforms.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This is a day shift position with occasional overtime, including weekends. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is able to work independently.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience repairing tools, machinery, or construction equipment
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, schematics, drivetrain systems, and diesel/gasoline engines
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and extended periods standing in a shop environment
• Willingness to travel to job sites, including occasional overnight stays
• Ability to obtain forklift certification, aerial platform certification, fall protection certification, OSHA training, and manufacturer-specific training
