Job Description
The Eye Care Group is seeking a well-rounded Ophthalmic Assistant to support doctors and staff, provide patient care, and contribute to the team's mission and values.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in ophthalmic assisting procedures
- Ability to answer questions and address concerns in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to perform all duties of an Ophthalmic Technician as directed by a physician or Leadership
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and cooperate with team members
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and electronic medical recordkeeping
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of related experience preferred
- Good computer skills and ability to navigate between screens
- Experience with NexGen or Nextech a plus
