Job Description
1736 Family Crisis Center is a crisis intervention service provider that offers residential counseling and support services, including shelter programs for vulnerable populations. The Program Coordinator will manage shelter activities, review cases, and ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Advanced Degree from an accredited college/university in mental health, social services or comparable field.
- 2-5 years experience working with populations in a residential living facility for people experiencing homelessness.
- Strong knowledge of Case management ethics, HIPAA, Programmatic standards of operation and clinical engagement, clinical documentation methods, Housing First, Harm Reduction and Trauma informed philosophies.
- Experience coordinating projects and reports.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities and proactive decision-making abilities.
- Proven presentation and facilitation skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Possess excellent team and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under minimum supervision.
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, and employment and education verifications.
- Availability to respond to staff on a 24 hour a day, seven days a week basis.
