Senior Design Engineer

Role Overview

As the Senior Design Engineer, you'll lead the product development team, drive innovation, and optimize product performance for competitive advantage. You'll be responsible for developing new components and accessories, staying on top of industry trends, and contributing to product category strategy.

Develop new products, drive innovation, optimize product performance, review and sign off on fellow engineers' work, ensure cost, timeline, and quality targets are met, and build strong relationships with overseas vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master's preferred
• 7-10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on bringing new products to market
• Excellent 3D CAD modeling skills; OnShape or Solidworks preferred
• Extensive experience in product design, manufacturing, and the bike industry
• In-depth knowledge of engineering processes and principles
• Strong understanding of materials science in metals and alloys, carbon fiber, plastics, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong RCA and investigation skills, ability to deduce concise conclusions and enact effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills and proven track record of translating complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
