Director of AI/ML

Requirements

• Serve as the functional manager for a multidisciplinary AI team, including AI engineers, AI architects, and data engineers
• Broad ownership of all aspects of people leadership including hiring, career development, technical skill development and mentorship
• Partner with stakeholders across corporate function and business units to identify high value AI use cases, translate business needs into AI solutions and prioritize initiatives based on impact and feasibility
• Lead teams through the end-to-end AI lifecycle including problem framing, solution design, development, deployment and ongoing improvement
• Ensure AI solutions are scalable, reliable, explainable, aligned with responsible AI principles and follow good MLOps practices
• Define success metrics and KPIs for AI initiatives; measure, communicate, and continuously improve the business value and ROI of AI projects
• Coordinate across engineering, product, IT, security, legal and compliance teams to deliver AI solutions effectively
• Communicate clearly and confidently with senior and executive stakeholders translating technical concepts into business outcomes
