Production Operator I

Role Overview

Production Operator I will be responsible for producing and assembling products in the plant. They will operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.

What You Will Do

The person hired for the position will be responsible for observing all safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area, applying quality instructions & specifications, monitoring the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met, loading/unloading material into & from equipment, and working as a team member.

Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Basic understanding of Lean principles
• Close attention to detail, such as process conditions, is required at all times to avoid costly rework, production delays, safety incidents or scrap
• Ability to operate in an environment where complex machine operations happen simultaneously
• Ability to plan ahead in the process and production schedule to complete tasks in a timely fashion
• Execute proper in-process tests
