Professional Development Associate

The Professional Development Associate (PDA) will assist Professional Development Coordinators with classroom instruction, organizing materials, assessing skills, and assisting with job searching. This role requires strong communication, empathy, and experience working with individuals with mental health challenges. The PDA will be responsible for tracking program metrics, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Six months working in the job development field
• One year working in the homeless social services/client advocacy with people who have a mental illness or substance use addiction
• One year experience utilizing a client tracking database system
• Proficiency with Microsoft software programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
• Valid California driver’s license
• Access to a personal vehicle
• Ability to meet California minimum and ACOF insurance requirements
• Ability to lift 30 pounds
