Systems Engineer (Ground Avionics)

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in Tactical Data Link systems and message protocols. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and 12+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 5 years in a DoD environment.

Requirements

• 12+ years experience in systems engineering including at least 5 years in a DoD environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• In-depth knowledge and experience with LINK-16, SADL and other Tactical Data Link systems and message protocols
• Knowledge of Flight Line Maintenance procedures and a working knowledge of both AC and DC electrical power and Radio Frequency characteristics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques
• Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently
• Must be willing to travel to USAF and FMS locations globally
• Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance
