Network Security Administrator III (Boundary)

Role Overview

Abacus Technology seeks a Network Security Administrator to provide boundary protection support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex. This is a full-time position.

What You Will Do

Install, monitor, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, harden, maintain, and operate intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, load balancers, and web proxies to protect AFNet resources from both internal and external threats.

Must be Security+ certified and hold one of the following certifications: Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE); Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall; Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA); or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Professional.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in network administration and support
• HS diploma or GED
• Security+ certified
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall
• Palo Alto Networks Cybersecurity Associate (PCCSA)
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Professional
• US Citizen
• Current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI)
