Job description
Perform cabling, power, and grounding of various types of equipment and hardware using proper tools and safety practices. Install, remove, or relocate various common telecommunication equipment. Splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cable to meet job requirements.
Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, including O&M of copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling. Terminate, splice, locate, mark, test, tag, and cross-connect cable pairs.
Must hold BICSI Installer I, II Copper, and II Fiber certifications. Must be trained in OSHA Confined Space, basic bucket truck operations, ladder safety, aerial and scissor lift safety, GPS, and cable location.
