Procurement Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead the development of effective procurement practices across Abbeyfield Living Society. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement activity, developing procurement strategies, and managing supplier relationships.

What You Will Do

As Procurement Manager, you will deliver compliant, sustainable, and commercially sound procurement solutions, support procurement governance, and identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a procurement or commercial environment
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier engagement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance value for money and service quality
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Strong influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage supplier relationships proactively and effectively
