
Job description
The Controls Technician will maintain plant electrical/mechanical systems and equipment in a safe and reliable manner. This role is part of the Maintenance Department, which provides outstanding customer service and support to the manufacturing teams through preventative/predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrading of plant processing, packaging, and the filling line equipment.
Perform repairs and troubleshoot high speed equipment and plant utility systems; make machine adjustments to case packers, palletizers, sleevers, labelers, and other equipment for proper operation. Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of electrician, controls technician, or industrial experience, and an electrical technical degree or equivalent experience. The role requires ability to access and interpret PLC logic via a laptop computer or desktop station and understanding of wiring schematics.
