The Senior Project Manager provides overall management direction for complex electrical construction projects and supports the development of new business opportunities with clients, client groups, geographic markets, and project types.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience and knowledge in construction design, finance, and management
- Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities
- Strong project management skills, including documentation, cost control, procurement, scheduling, negotiation, and change order management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, and influence
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Advanced problem-solving, scheduling, and cost-control abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability and willingness to learn new software systems
- Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee and project performance
