Senior Estimator

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to join our team in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and experience working on large design-build, P3 civil projects. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for preparing Order of Magnitude (OOM) Budgets, setting up Cost Work Break-Down Structures, and performing Quantity Take-offs.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Demonstrated experience working on large design-build, P3 civil (roads, bridges and tunnels) projects
• Previous experience in supporting the bidding process
• Working knowledge of estimating and quantity take-off software
• General knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing required
• Ability to calculate mathematical extensions, read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, cost coding systems, etc.
