Job Description
As the QA/QC Supervisor, you will lead the QA/QC Project Team, ensuring the First-in Inspection process effectively reduces risk and minimizes cost due to fabrication and installation errors. You will also monitor all quality issues to ensure systematic problems are addressed and proactively work with the Project Management Team to support the success of the project.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 10 years of overall experience and/or training
- 8 years of experience in Quality Control focused on ASME B31 piping codes, industrial and commercial construction, fabrication, welding, non-destructive testing, and/or other similar fields
- Current certification in accordance with AWS QC-1 as a Senior Certified Welding Inspector (SCWI), Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), and/or ICC Mechanical – Commercial Certification
- 3 years of experience leading and managing direct reports
- Proficient understanding of ASME Section IX BP&V Code and experience creating and reviewing welding procedures and welder or brazer qualifications
