Job Description
This position is for a Senior Structural Engineer responsible for independently delivering engineering services, from conceptual design to construction completion. The engineer will manage project coordination, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and ensure the structural integrity of projects. They will be proficient in various engineering standards and able to work independently and in a collaborative team.
Requirements
- BS in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer license highly desirable, but not required.
- 8+ years of experience in structural design
- Excellent understanding of engineering and design fundamentals
- Thorough understanding of seismic bracing design, attachment design, supplemental support design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledgeable with 3D modeling software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
