Senior HR Business Partner responsible for aligning business objectives with team members and management in designated business units, providing strategic support to several business units while supporting team members across the globe.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in human resources, including multi-country HR support.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a strategic business partner role and in resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Previous experience leading, developing and coaching junior HR team members
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with HRIS systems, comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR practices across North America
- Experience partnering with senior leaders in a global organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues and organizational change
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Ability to build solid connections with key stakeholders and influence major decision-makers
- Solid time management skills, sense of urgency, detail-oriented, organization, and prioritization
- Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
- Ability to multi-task and work under strict deadlines, process driven
- Strong analytical skills, resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Experience supporting a global organization and/or airlines/hospitality, experience providing multi-country HR support including Canada and India, experience supporting an evolving, globally dispersed Technology team
- Professional credential (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP), second language desired
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field
