Job Description
Comnet is seeking a hands-on Assembly Technician to join its manufacturing team in Danbury, CT. The role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting wireless communication modules and electronic components, ensuring each product meets Acre's high standards for performance, quality, and reliability.
Requirements
- Assemble wireless modules, PCB subassemblies, and electronic components according to engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and work orders.
- Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering in line with IPC standards.
- Install and route wiring, connectors, and hardware for RF, digital, and power circuits.
- Operate and maintain test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers to perform functional and quality checks.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing to ensure quality compliance.
- Record assembly and test data in production tracking systems (ERP/MES).
- Follow ESD-safe and cleanroom procedures as required.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype builds and process improvements.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
