Zen Quality Assurance Engineer - Bangalore/Pune

HCL Software is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to test and validate changes to the Zen product line. The ideal candidate will have excellent software development skills, be a self-starter, and be able to work independently. The QA engineer will contribute to all facets of testing, including automated testing, manual testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, software development/maintenance, or DevOps
• In-depth knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of at least one programming language (c/c++ or Java preferred)
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems
• Background in data-management internals (relational db concepts, SQL language/syntax/dialects, relational data access methods such as ODBC/JDBC, etc.)
