Web Developer with a strong focus on Shopify Plus to join a small, high-ownership E-commerce team. Collaborate on development and maintenance of the site and backend systems, translate design specifications into performant code, and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- 1-3 years experience working at an E-commerce business on Shopify Plus or similar platform
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and core web APIs
- Experience with Shopify theme development, Liquid, and Shopify CLI
- Proficiency with SCSS and modern build tooling (Vite, Webpack, npm)
- Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub including branching workflows and code review
- Experience with custom Shopify apps, extensions, and functions
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with MarTech integrations such as Klaviyo or similar platforms
- Comfortable consuming GraphQL and REST APIs
- Strong creative problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices including CVR optimization, A/B testing, and UX design
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with latest trends in web development and ecommerce
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate workflows and improve code quality
