Acuren Wind has an exciting opportunity for a Field Specialist to support our client sites in Nova Scotia and Quebec. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting field operations, delivering high-quality technical solutions, and contributing to innovative projects within the wind energy sector.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wind/renewables, energy, industrial or civil construction
- 1-2 years of experience as Field Engineer, project lead, or Project Manager, experience preferably in a related service, industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in contractor / subcontractor FE management, including mobilization / demobilization, pre-qualification requirements and post-work assessment
- Experience in conducting Inspections and Site Audits. Previous technical knowledge of wind turbine construction and/or operation
- Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel, sometimes extensively, between project sites on short notice
- Strong PC computer skills (MS Office) required, MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Primavera Project Management preferred. SAP knowledge highly preferred
