Electrical Engineer III

Acutronic is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves new product introduction, detailed electrical design, and development of embedded control systems for various product lines, including actuation systems, turbo generators, and power generation, conversion, and distribution. The incumbent will also support proposal efforts and contribute to project schedules, estimating recurring and non-recurring costs, and developing detailed system performance models using MATLAB/SIMULINK.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering
• At least ten years of experience designing and developing motor controls and electromechanical control systems, power conditioning and distribution systems, and real-time systems
• Experience with navigating firmware in embedded electronic systems, failure investigation, safety and reliability assessment, and aerospace configuration management and control
