Job Description
ADAPT Community Network, formerly United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of NYC, provides comprehensive services to individuals with developmental disabilities. They are seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to residents in their residential facilities, fostering independence and creating a homelike atmosphere. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, providing training, and ensuring safety and well-being.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
