Solution Engineer (Aeron and Capital Markets)

We are looking for a Solution Engineer to join our team in London. The role involves building strong relationships with clients and team members, and delivering complex front-office technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the capital markets domain, strong communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Exceptional technologist who loves to solve complex problems as part of a team
• Experience building solutions in the capital markets domain
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients
• Strategic thinking and clear communication
• Experience in providing mentorship and support to team members
• Significant experience within capital markets, developing software solutions using Java in a highly performant, low latency manner
• Experience using Aeron in a high-performance scenario within capital markets or digital assets
• Familiarity with appropriate data structures and their usages
• Experience in building solutions within order management systems, execution management systems, smart order routing, trading venues & exchanges, matching engines, algo containers, risk management, FIX gateways
• Experience in working within an Agile environment and following a mature SDLC
• Distributed Systems and Consensus Algorithms
• Event-driven architecture
• Replicated State Machines
