Job Description
The Registered Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care to patients of all ages, working collaboratively with other team members and physicians to achieve optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Carries out physician orders according to protocols, best practices, and respiratory care policies.
- Accurately performs diagnostic procedures and cardiac monitoring with recognition of arrhythmias.
- Accurately administers medications for the testing or treatment of cardiopulmonary impairment.
- Assists with new employee orientation and annual competency skills evaluations.
- Takes an active department leadership role in Quality Improvement Processes.
