Job Description
The Sales Assistant contributes to achieving sales numbers and KPI goals by building an emotional connection with customers, serving customers, selling, and executing store processes carefully.
Requirements
- Knows store goals and individual goals and actively works to achieve or exceed them, using all available resources
- Meets or exceeds customer expectations and drives sales and brand awareness by applying suitable elements of the Customer Concept
- Builds an emotional bond with each customer by presenting themselves as a passionate and enthusiastic brand ambassador
- Maintains an attractive and pleasant store environment in which customers want to shop and takes care of visual merchandising, order, and cleanliness
- Adheres to the rules and processes (SOM regulations) applicable to the store and maintains a safe shopping and working environment
- Ensures that the product offer is available to customers by helping to fill the sales floor when new products arrive
- Minimizes losses by always paying attention to stock levels when serving customers
- Onboards new colleagues (if applicable)
- Works productively and respectfully with team members to achieve store goals
- Completes all required training programs and applies them successfully in their work
- Demonstrates ongoing willingness to learn and uses all offered opportunities to advance their development and improve their performance
- Cashier activity (if applicable): Ensures correct payment processes, including careful product handling, conducts cash register closures carefully, closes sales quickly and accurately and adheres to guidelines for securing cash balances (if applicable)
- Endless Aisle (if applicable): Informs customers about the new ordering/sales option in the online shop and uses the Endless Aisle tablet to offer product descriptions and/or customer feedback during the sales process
- Click & Collect (if applicable): Monitors and oversees new online orders placed by online customers and reserved, packed, and handed over to customers in-store
- Ship from Store (if applicable): Monitors and oversees new online orders that need to be shipped to customers
