Industrial Mechanic

Role Overview

As an Industrial Mechanic at ADM, you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment in proper working condition at the Candiac plant. You will perform repairs and troubleshooting as required by operations while ensuring the performance and reliability of machinery.

What You Will Do

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in industrial systems, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment according to specifications, and install and maintain machinery and equipment using hoists, forklifts, and hand tools.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You will need a DEC in Mechanical Technology or DEP in Industrial Mechanics with 3–5 years of experience, strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices, and the ability to work in varying conditions.

Requirements

• DEC in Mechanical Technology or DEP in Industrial Mechanics
• 3–5 years of experience
• Experience with roller equipment, conveyors, blowers, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including cutting, grinding, and welding metal parts
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Benefits

• Pay: $40.05 per hour ($43.19 after 6mths)
