Role Overview

Under general supervision, builds, maintains, and repairs production equipment for all departments as required.

What You Will Do

Disassemble and identify mechanical failures, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment.

Must have post-secondary mechanical education, be willing to perform tasks at high elevations, and have strong attention to detail.

Post-Secondary mechanical education
Complete all on the job training books and web based training
Become CPR/ First Aid qualified
Participate in the Respirator program
Willing and able to perform tasks at high elevations
Identify, understand, and have ability to communicate plant hazards with others
Have general understanding of how to use a computer and email
Communicate effectively through speech and writing
Must stay motivated and show initiative to complete tasks under limited supervision
Display quality work through strong attention to detail
Work with a team orientation
Work overtime as necessary
Provide shift coverage
Meet requests of supervision
Utilize trucks, forklifts, computers, hand tools, testing equipment, JLG lifts, wiring, rigging, and other tools or equipment correctly
