Process Safety Engineer

Role Overview

A Process Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that industrial processes operate safely and efficiently by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with hazardous materials, equipment, and operations. The role focuses on preventing incidents such as fires, explosions, chemical releases, and other process-related accidents through systematic safety management and engineering controls. The Process Safety Engineer works closely with operations, maintenance, and design teams to integrate safety principles into all stages of a facility’s lifecycle.

What You Will Do

Conduct Process Hazard Analyses, monitor and evaluate PSM performance, identify potential hazards, recommend and implement risk mitigation strategies, develop and implement Process Safety Management programs, provide process safety input during design reviews, and participate in incident investigations.

Requirements
