Shift Supervisor

Role Overview

This position oversees day-to-day material handling and logistics operations of a cogeneration facility, supervising material handling employees to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

What You Will Do

Plan and coordinate unloading activities, supervise material handling personnel, and monitor fuel and byproduct inventories to minimize demurrage exposure.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Strong understanding of industrial material handling operations, logistics coordination, and inventory management principles
• Ability to identify root causes, develop corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced operational environment
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, for coordination across departments, employee training, reporting, and operational analysis
• Ability to supervise and develop hourly employees while maintaining accountability and engagement
