Field Application Engineer 1 1

The Field Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales account teams, corporate product marketing and engineering teams, and customers. They must generate new business, defend current business, build critical relationships, and gather information to support AE's corporate objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years in related engineering field and 5+ years in related technology field
• Working knowledge of thin film industry
• Vacuum science and plasma processing equipment and applications
• Computer driven diagnostic equipment, Visual Basic for test simulation
• Microsoft Excel creating macros for qualification criteria
• Hands-on technical trouble-shooting; operation of sampling and real time oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum and network analyzers, power supplies, RF and DC fixturing for power supply characterization
• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent degree
