
Job description
The Chemical Handler will be responsible for retrieving, adding, and mixing chemicals used in the production process. They will also be responsible for maintaining/assisting electroless and wastewater treatment, and assisting with housekeeping throughout the plant.
The Chemical Handler will perform tasks such as loading/unloading of chemical waste, keeping chemical inventory goods up to date, and providing inventory counts as needed. They will also be responsible for reporting accidents, safety violations, or other concerns.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience working with forklifts may be preferred. They will also need to have a strong understanding of chemical processes, aptitude for mechanics, and basic computer skills.
