
Job description
Join our US Research & Venture Team to develop co-packaged optical test systems integrated into semiconductor testing systems. As the Optical Integration Engineering Lead, you will work collaboratively with Advantest Technology groups, Business Units, partners, and suppliers to specify components and systems that address signal integrity and reliability concerns.
Develop optical signal path for CPO test systems, work with handler and tester teams to specify optical signal path components, ensure Optical Signal Integrity of the system, and conduct testing, validation, and characterization of integrated optical test hardware.
This role requires a highly experienced Photonics Engineer with a strong understanding of optical signal integrity, optical measurement and instruments, and system integration. You will be responsible for leading optical signal path design and signal integrity analysis, overseeing system integration into mechatronic systems, and collaborating with foundries for wafer and packaged device creation.
