Infection Prevention Surveillance Specialist (Roseville)

The Infection Prevention Surveillance Specialist will be responsible for conducting system-wide surveillance of healthcare-associated infections (HAI) and reporting HAIs and IP related measures to NHSN to meet regulatory and facility-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Public Health or related field or equivalent combination of education/related experience
• Two years' of experience in healthcare associated infection surveillance using NHSN definitions
• Prior experience with surveillance systems (e.g., Epic, VigiLanz, Theradoc, or comparable)
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC)
• Certified Infection Control (CIC)
