Public Safety Officer

The Public Safety Officer is responsible for providing security services with a customer-service approach, focusing on professionalism, fairness, and compassion. They will perform routine responsibilities during interior and exterior patrols, respond to emergency and crisis situations, and investigate incidents that occur on Advocate Health property.

Requirements

• Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) issued by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS)
• A valid driver's license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicle
• High school graduate or GED
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in a security, related public safety, or customer service area
