Job Description
Aecon is hiring a Paver Operator to support our Paving Division in Calgary, Alberta for the 2026 Season. The Paver Operator will operate the paver and other equipment safely and efficiently, ensure the asphalt mix is placed to the correct grade and thickness, and perform daily maintenance and safety inspections.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience operating a Paver
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Maintains a valid Class 5 driver’s license or better
- Own vehicle to get to and from jobsite
- Willing to work overtime, nightshifts, weekends, as required
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement
