Senior Fullstack Engineer

Agora is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of features and products across the stack, from Agora interfaces to reliable backend infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong product taste, a bias toward MVP thinking, and experience working with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of fullstack development experience
• 3+ years in TypeScript/Node.js and a modern frontend framework (React preferred)
• Fluency with relational databases and SQL
• Proven ability to ship production systems, frontend and backend, with high uptime and minimal maintenance burden
• Strong product instincts and an eye for good design
• Comfortable working directly with external partners and customers on requirements gathering, integration, and iterative feature development
• MVP mindset: able to scope a milestone, ship it, learn from it, and iterate fast
• Strong commitment to clean code principles and automated testing
• Deep understanding of API design, versioning, documentation, and modern authentication patterns
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across product, design, and operations in remote, asynchronous environments
