Job Description
GENEX Cooperative is hiring a Reproductive Program Senior Technician to provide Artificial Insemination (AI) services and breeding program assistance in Eau Claire and Chippewa Counties, Wisconsin. The position focuses on dairy and beef cattle, requiring strong sales and customer service skills, and dedication to improving herd reproduction. It involves providing herd visits, developing new business, and offering technical expertise to members and customers.
Requirements
- Strong dairy background with experience working with dairy cows
- Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience is preferred
- Experience in heat detection on large farms
- Aggressive sales and service person who is self-motivated
- Willingness to learn and develop personally and professionally
- Computer skills are required
- Ability to work with herd management software is a plus
