
Job description
To become a pivotal part of Group Data Governance by partnering with 18+ local business units across Asia Pacific and Group functions to deliver best data quality and governance for both structured and unstructured data. This role will be based in Malaysia with a Groupwide scope and acts as an extension of the Group Data Governance team to independently support business units and Group functions on data governance.
Key responsibilities include supporting business units and Group functions on data governance, developing guidelines on data governance, supporting audits related to data governance and quality, and enhancing and maintaining the data quality issue management module.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of hands-on experience of working on data governance or related data areas independently using data tools based on business needs and regulatory requirements. They will have experience of governing unstructured data, setting up and managing data governance and data quality assessment software, and developing and performing data quality assessments.
