Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Frames, Covers & Structures

Role Overview

Join HP Indigo R&D as a key mechanical owner in the development of next-generation digital press platforms. This is a hands-on senior role for a highly experienced mechanical engineer who combines deep mechanical design expertise with system-level thinking.

What You Will Do

Own the end-to-end technical scope of Frames, Covers, and Sheet-Metal Structures across HP Indigo digital press platforms, from early concept and mechanical architecture definition through detailed design, validation, and production release.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 7+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience in complex, multi-disciplinary R&D products
• Deep experience owning sheet-metal structures, frames, covers in production-oriented products
• Experience working with industrial design teams and translating visual / product design intent into mechanical solutions
