Operations Technician

Role Overview

As Operations Technician, you will be a central part of our technical production team, ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our air separation plant and seven on-site plants. You will work with technical expertise and high safety awareness to maintain the production of high-quality technical gases.

What You Will Do

Your tasks will include controlling and monitoring the production process, performing maintenance and repair work, and supporting senior maintenance teams. You will also work on commissioning new on-site plants and maintain and replace safety valves.

We are looking for a self-motivated and flexible individual with 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a completed three-year technical vocational training. You should have outstanding problem-solving skills, ability to work at heights, and basic knowledge of management systems and safety valves.

Requirements

• Completed three-year technical vocational training (e.g., electrician, locksmith, process technician)
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Self-motivation, flexibility, and resilience
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and safe action in exceptional situations
• Ability to work at heights
• Authorization for plants up to 30 kV (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 50001)
• Knowledge of explosion protection
• Knowledge of safety valves
• IT knowledge (MS Office, SAP, AP-Tools)
• Driver's license class B
• Willingness to be on call
• Basic knowledge of the English language
